300 BLK questions
Well I am looking into uppers in the 300 Blackout caliber to suppress. Any one know any uppers they like or don't like. Also should the rifle be sbred? As I understand it the round was designed for sbr use as it has less flash, recoil, and lots of energy. Ill be running the yhm titanium qd 30 cal can. Also what kind if range are you shooting these out to with the supersonic rounds and subsonic ones?
Thanks in advance

Re: 300 BLK questions
go as short as you can...that is the main benefit of the .300. As for distance...subs out to 200yds is doable. Supers out to 400+. Right now uppers/complete guns are impossible to find so I would recommend whatever you can get your hands on. I have a 16" cmmg and it shot perfectly both suppressed/unsuppressed subs and supers. I also have a 10' noveske that runs perfect. Great caliber, but expensive to shoot quietly lol. Good luck!

Re: 300 BLK questions
I have an 8" upper that i put together, a 16" upper that i also put together, and a Micro 7 rifle. All are great with subs and supers. I have taken ground hogs at varying distances with both loads. 50 yards right between the eyes with a 200 grain sub and 210 yards was the farthest with a super. 110 Vmax supersonic loads do a number on them.

Re: 300 BLK questions
SBR for sure if its an option. The AAC uppers are very nice if you can find one. I only take subs out to about 150 but 200 is very doable. I rarely shoot super sonics but will be trying some of the remington match ammo this weekend at 5-600 to see what is possible. Best advice that I can give for getting into shooting 300 blackout is Plan to reload. Ammo is expensive but if you can deal with that or do your own reloading you will never look back.

Re: 300 BLK questions
Reloading is your best option. I haven't bought a single round, or piece of brass. All my 300blk brass is range pickup 556 that i convert. I run my YHM Phantom on all my 300blk's and couldn't be happier.
