I'd love to do this if a gun buy back was local enough. I'd assume in PA you could only do this for long weapons as hand gun private sales aren't allowed.

It's a win-win, the people looking to get rid of their guns get more than they would have with the buy back, gun owners get some nice deals on guns that were destined for the scrap heap, and taxpayers are saved from funding this nonsense (I know a lot of money comes from donations, but you still have to pay the police to organize it, etc.)

" Invaded"??? They make it sound so militant and subversive. God forbid citizens be on a public street trying to help the sheeple get more for their guns than the buyback provides, and save some worthy, rare, or collectable firearms in the process. They're just mad because they have less to destroy, more tax money for other projects, and that these private transactions help the local economy. They (including the media) can all kiss my asterisk.

They do a lot of gun by backs in Baltimore, they think they accomplished something, next day the evening news shows these things. Half of them must come from the storm drains and the others out of the harbor, most don't work. But the bangers don't care they just got 100 bucks. 50 for another gun and 50 for some crack,,,, ROTFLMAO...

I believe all the people acepting the handguns should be prosecuted unless they have a ffl. I could find no exception that relates to gun buyback programs.
    Some people just plain suck.
