500-1000 Yard Shooting Range - Western PA

Did a forum search for long shooting ranges here in PA, and looks like the closest one is in Tyrone PA.

I am about 30 miles east of Pittsburgh and am looking for a place to do some longer range shooting past 300. Any suggestions?

Ridgway Rifle Club, Ridgway Pa 15853 in Elk County. the NRA always has a competition there evey year iirc.

I believe Lawrence County Sportsman's club goes out to 600yds.

IIRC, the Greensburg Sportsman's Club has a 500 yard rifle range.

Here is a link for the range near Altoona in Tyrone PA. I shot in a 1000yd 50 BMG match there back in 2005 and after looking at the picture they sure have updated the range.

Do they no longer have a web page? I called them several times& never spoke to anyone, but left messages. I want to inquire about joining, or, when they allow guests to shoot. I guess I will have to go in person & hope that a club officer is there. Does anyone know if they are accepting members?
