Gilberton,pa
saw this on another forum:
States and towns take action to nullify unconstitutional federal gun disarmament laws
http://www.naturalnews.com/038668_gu...itutional.html
But others are taking a different tack altogether, like officials in Gilberton, Pa., a small burough in Schuylkill County. Though the town only boasts a population of a little more than 820, the top law enforcement official there is making a big, bold statement.
Police Chief Mark Kessler has written what he calls a Second Amendment Preservation ordinance that he plans to introduce to the town council during its Jan. 24 meeting. If adopted, the ordinance would require the city to "enact any and all measures as may be necessary" to prevent any violations of the Second Amendment by any federal, state or local government or entity.

Glad to hear it passed, now to get Shamokin, Coaltownship, Mt. Carmel, etc. to follow suit.

Re: Gilberton,pa
Now all gun manufacturers should open up a plant there and show the rest what's it like. Unemployment is high and labor is cheap. With Cabelas next door we could have our own gun valley.

Re: Gilberton,pa
Good luck, I called S&W and Savage and asked why they continue to headquarter in states that are anti gun. I also called Remington about their Illion plant in NY. Where Commie Coumo wants to confiscate ARs. Remington and S&W were not bad but Savage acted like I wanted them to cut their heads off. I for one will not leave one thin dime in any state that wants to strip me of my rights. If I need a new rifle I'llgo either Winchester or custom.

Yeah, it is ironic that the biggest manufacturers of firearms are located in the Northeast, but that is historical. The Northeast of today and back then are a little bit different. That's why the north won the civil war I guess.

well 1ST ATTEMPT was unsuccessful there was a fire in town and I was told he was not on duty and the township building was closed but that is common for the small towns. But I will try again next week.
