Sling stud install
My dad just bought a new rifle and it didn't come with sling studs. The stock is beautiful and he doesn't want to take a chance of screwing it up. We are having a rough time finding someone who has the time or wants to take on such a small job. Was wondering if anyone knew a smith or someone who can install a sling stud in SE PA. Like I said, we would do it ourselves if the gun wasn't so nice and new. Or if someone has some good pointers to do it ourselves. The gun is a Browning BLR.

Re: Sling stud install
I do stud installs pretty frequently. The cost is around $35.00, not including the cost of the studs/swivels.
It is not hard to drill them yourself, it just requires the proper tools. Drilling the stud holes and countersink by hand will turn into ass pretty fast.Crusader's local #556 South Central Asia chapter
