Default Wanted to give props to a forum member

I watched this 50 minute debate about gun control on a local newspapers webcast last night. A forum member (Dannytheman) was speaking on behalf of the 2nd Amendment. I think he did a great job. Calm, respectful, had facts and knew what he was talking about. I think he did a good job getting the pro gun point across.

Thanks for the link. I just watched most of it and agree Dan did a great job.

Not surprising at the end where the mayor tells how she believes in government to be the answer. That's one our this country's biggest problems, people believing that government is the solution.

Glad you took the time to check it out. I had the same exact reaction when I heard her say that.

That's a good question, I was dumbfounded too. Anyone know him?

I've never seen or heard of this "loophole" in action. I've purchased firearms at gun shows as have many friends and each and everyone of us had to fill out the paperwork and had PICS done right at the show.

Exactly, it's an anti fallacious talking point. Finally refuted by Dan. Unfortunately it needs a bigger, unavailable stage.

Yes he did an incredible job. Its funny though even as they told the Mayor that there were already laws in place that just werent being enforced and would make a difference her reaction was still about gun control not law enforcement. Dan thanks and way to go. Its nice to see someone that represents and is just like the vast majority of gun owners in this country.
