looking for new Range Bucks county area

Hi all looking to join range or club. I am in New Hope area. I was a member of BCF&G. Looking for something lil closer to home and not far of a drive. My v8 is thursty...lol

Ps looking for "family type place" not a bunch of "Fuuds" in the back yard drinking 40s shooting cans...

Its a fine range and a good value for the price. I was just looking to find something closer to home. New Hope- Solebury area.

I live in the New Hope area as well. For the past few weeks I have been going to Target World in Chalfont... takes me about 25 minutes (i dont mind driving to it). It's a nice range though (indoors) and has a nice store as well. I know you wanted closer, but it's not a bad drive.

The other closest one I believe is Wicen's (outdoor), but I haven't shot there yet.

I'm looking for an indoor and outdoor range that doesn't charge an arm and a leg for membership, doesn't have archaic membership requirements and has 24-hour indoor, within 30-45 minutes from Falls Township.

i personally prefer classic pistol for shooting over ready aim fire raf just can't get past there attitudes

Hey I am new to PAFOA, but I have been reading the forum for years. NEVER, EVER go to Target World in chalfont, unless you feel like talking to the marine behind the counter about what is legal and illegal. I know he is a marine because I heard him say it about 20 times. Then he referred me to someone who was supposedly a "police officer", this gentleman was sadly mistaken about the law as well. Aside from my negative experiences there, I have read numerous bad reviews about the range. I try to stick to Wicens, or Claytons, lately its been Claytons due to the weather. Very nice atmosphere there. I've seen a guy get LIT UP at Wicens for taking pictures of his daughters shooting. If you live in New Hope, my advice is Wicens or Claytons.

Photos in general prohibited. They claim that somebody took photos and posted on internet and some anti photo shopped them to make it look like they were shooting over the berm at houses or something. Although this seems like a stretch to me, no open to the public range I shoot at allows photos...only the private clubs I frequent.

Any updates to this info? I'm moving into the new hope solebury area as well. Looking for ranges and trustworthy shops in the area. What about state ranges? Any within an hour drive or are they not worth visiting? Coming from NJ so completely unaware of the ranges around.
