I read today in the Daily Lack of News about the Mayor signing a bill making "assault" rifles and high capacity magazines illegal in town.


so...my question is, where is this law posted ?

of course with a LTC, I am concerned about what I can now carry.

Guess I am going to downsize my clips to carry in town now.

Do you have a link? As far as I know, this would be illegal since Pa has exemption laws. Each township, city etc can not make up its own gun laws. That would create chaos for citizens doing something as simple as traveling from home to work. Imagine if you had to research each townships laws to figure out if you were legal there.

What they passed was a resolution saying that they support an AWB, mag limits and background checks for all transactions. It is just show.

Above is a link for the story. They are not making any laws. It looks like they are drafting a resolution supporting gun control laws at the state and federal levels.

Knowing the Chesco DA, They will get away with it by declaring West Chester borough to be "County Property" like they do the parks to circumvent preemption.

There are no gun stores in West Chester that i am aware of.

There used to be a Class III dealer called "ILA" on West Town rd. but they closed some time ago.
