Default Hit us with your best shot, Andy! Hell no we not giving up our guns.

Assault-rifle owners statewide are organizing a mass boycott of Gov. Cuomo’s new law mandating they register their weapons, daring officials to “come and take it away,” The Post has learned.

Gun-range owners and gun-rights advocates are encouraging hundreds of thousands of owners to defy the law, saying it’d be the largest act of civil disobedience in state history.

“I’ve heard from hundreds of people that they’re prepared to defy the law, and that number will be magnified by the thousands, by the tens of thousands, when the registration deadline comes,’’ said Brian Olesen, president of the American Shooters Supply, one of the largest gun dealers in the state.

Agreed but rather than spectate, we all need to find a way to help. These guys need to know we have their backs somehow.

It would be nice to see PA firearm owners with arms in mass stationed at major highways right at the PA NY boarder.

I love their defiant spirit, but since this doesn't seem to be a confiscation law, the major problem with their approach is that they'll be picked off one-by-one (e.g., each time one of them is caught with an unregistered gun or magazine), which is not conducive to mass resistance, unless everyone agrees to go ape when the first person is arrested under this b.s. law.

Knowing the people of New York, the will not only NOT comply, but once a person is charged or has his/her firearm confiscated, there WILL be a law suit that will go all the way to the US Supreme Court.. and I hope it does.

Especially the way the NY Constitution is written....

Good luck to all those LEGAL, LAW ABIDING citizens of NY that are unjustly AND unconstitutionally being stripped of their rights.

The LAST thing I want to see is violence or harm come to anyone.
We must continue to use PEACEFUL means to settle these infringements of our rights.

That being said... If its come to it and we are at the point where discussion is ineffective and politics fails and law enforcement is over stepping its authority...

If law abiding (Constitutional Laws) citizens are forced to give up their arms and thousands assemble to "push back", I know what side Ill be rooting for...
