Default Glock 26 or Taurus PT740 for primary carry

Love my glock 26 but just bought a Taurus PT740slim and know that I would rather have the stopping power of the 740 as primary but I am worried about the glock being too much weight for an ankle carry. Let me know your thoughts and thanks in advance!

The 740 is a tic smaller, but the weight difference is negligible at 19 oz verses 19.75. If you get the 8 round extended mag, you're at the end of the spectrum weight wise and possibly will be printing that longer grip unless you wear Woodstock slacks. Why the fixation with ankle carry? The 740 slim is extra concealable IWB and it's right there for the getting. Very comfortable to carry, but the thing does have some recoil. The G26 would be much more impressive when it came to follow up shots.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

I find ankle cumbersome in feel and draw.
I agree with 300WM. Maybe carry the 26 crossdraw on your weak side at 10 or 2 O'clock. Cary the 740 strong side wherever comfy. idk. Its your decision but i see ankle as a carry zone for your back up to your BUG.

Is your ankle decision based on wardrobe(business, work uniform, etc.)? You could always carry the 26 in a shoulder rig under a dress shirt if you are already using a tuckable for primary.

Any recommendations for a holster for the 26 as a crossdraw?

IWB, OWB, leather, kydex? You have more options than most with a Glock.

Definitely IWB and not picky on the material as long as it will hold up.

Still lots of options. How much do you want to spend. Less than $20, $50, $100?

    Take your pick lol
