What was the source? because they didn't call 226 by its real name

No problem! I just like to know if a media source is trying to sugar coat these things by leaving parts out of its title.

What's the catch on the tax credit bill? Despite it being idiotic on the gun control aspect (taking legally owned guns isn't going to do much), what hold do they gain on us?

Other than potentially driving up the market, I don't see how it would work in their agenda.

On the flip side, I'd be happy to turn in some non-functioning ARs/AKs built with bargain basement parts for a $2000 credit to use towards something worthwhile, rinse and repeat yearly. I'd see this process being good for manufacturers in the aspect of selling more guns.

There's GOT to be a catch, other than costing the government (or rather taxpayers) even more money than they already DON'T have.

A lot of these politicians are stupid, but not THAT stupid..or are they?

I see your point, but NEVER play into their hands on something like this. Sell it to a fellow member, but never give in to their plans. It makes them believe they are winning, and emboldens further action on their part.
