Re: Gettysburg Gun Show- Eagle Arms
We went early yesterday, had to be 2-300 in line before the doors opened. What little ammo that was there was rediculously over-priced (as can be expected right now). Picked up some bullets and brass for reloading. I was in the market for another Colt 1911, but there was virtually nothing there. The AR type stuff is 2-3 times what it was selling for only a month ago, and it seems that it's pulling the prices on everything else up along with it. Talked to a few dealers and they all are saying that the distributors are out of just about everything. The aisles were packed and it was hard to see stuff in a lot of places. We managed to get through the show and out of there by 1:00. Did have a nice lunch at the Pub on the square in town!
Until this whole thing plays itself out and we see what the folks in Washington end up doing I think this is about what we can expect to see. My take is that if you really need something, and can find it, AND you can afford it, buy it. Otherwise, just sit tight, dig in, and try to get by with what you've got for now. Good luck everyone.

I live real close to allstar complex. Drove by early and said nope, I ain't waiting in that line.
Went over around 1 p.m. and walked right in. Not crowded, busy, but not crowded.
I was able to walk back out a couple hours later without buying anything.

I didn't go.. But heard it sucked. Alot of empty tables(As is to be expected with everything selling out). So you would walk for a little then crowds would form around the few tables.
And of course everything was over priced. It's usually a decent show.

I went and ended up trading a Kimber for a nice original Sistema Colt from 1954
