My New Remmington 870 Tactical

I started out Saturday going to Gander Mountain for other reasons when I saw the 870. Came home and told the wife I found a shotgun that I'd been wanting for awhile. Since she had no ideas for my up and coming birthday, she told me to go back and get it. I didn't have to be told twice. Haven't had it out yet but hope to do so over the weekend.

I got one not to long ago, nice gun I changed the stock on mine. I wanted something shorter. I put on a wilson combat. This is a great gun been around for about 50 years.

Beautiful day for shooting. Took the Grandson on his first range trip and the 870 ran like a champ right out of the box. It may have helped that I'd cleaned it a couple of times during the past week just itching to get out.

I was so proud of my Grandson and the way that he followed the safety rules with both the shotty and the Glock. He had way more hits than misses. I hope that we both created a life long memory. Steve

I'm ashamed to say that one of my jobs is being a photographer. Didn't even take along a camera - too busy coaching and too many other fun things to shoot. Maybe next time. Steve
