Re: Tisas Zig M1911?
Picked up one of these and setting it up for Wild Bunch shoots... anyone know any specifics on the sights? I'd like to replace them with either novak style or adjustable. Unsure of the dovetail cut on the rear and I'm guessing the front is staked/tenon?
Does anyone make replacement sights that fit these?
Many thanks -
Scott

I too will put toward my vote for the Regent 350CR . For a little over 500, you get a quality pistol with a 4" bull barrel, a compact rail, upgraded sights, skeleton trigger, and durable finish. While the gun may be budget in price, it is anything but cheap. I would stack this pistols quality up against Taurus or any of the Philippine produced 1911's any day of the week.

Re: Tisas Zig M1911?
Great info, but just to clarify, are you saying this rear sight dovetail on the TISAS is the "standard colt model 70 gi mil spec" dovetail? Which I presume is the same as pretty much all colt 1911 mil specs?
As for the front sight are you confirming it's a stake style sight that's stock on the TISAS, you just aren't sure if it's a narrow or wide stake?
It would be great to hear from someone that's actually switched out the sights on their TISAS.
Thanks again!

Re: Tisas Zig M1911?
Here are sights that worked on my TISAS
http://www.fusionfirearms.com/servle...C-White/Detail
It appears the rear sights are dovetailed albeit the gun smith had to do some fitting. The front sights are series 70 narrow staked.
Heres how I picked it up, notice the original sights.
I love how they look on this gun.
Side Profile
The same company also makes the sights in Tritium.

Re: Tisas Zig M1911?
Hi,
very useful information, Thanks. I also purchased one of these Tisas Zig M 1911, Government or Full Size and would like to change sights on it as you have done here. can you please advise how you did it please? exact location for the sights + part numbers!, TYPE OR model please.
Also, I read correctly, you had to send it to a gun smith to have the new sights fit? to be the front sight is somehow "Pressed in" on the slide!? is this correct?
Please advise,
Regards,
Masood

Re: Tisas Zig M1911?
I don't and I own the TISAS and sold my springfield Loaded wuth Trijicon and pocketed the surplus cash. And my gunsmith does not get a prize from Bud's either, but he prefers the quality of the Turkish Tisas over the Brazil Springfield. Now, what are your other objections?

Re: Tisas Zig M1911?
Hi and thanks for responding to my post. as I mentioned, I have purchased one of Those Zig M Tisas and pretty happy with it except for the sights. My question was on the process of how to put sights on this gun? who is the Gun Smith and how I can contact him also, the model/type of sights you put on your Tisas 1911 Sig M please?
if you can please send me the info on the Gun Smith through email I will be much obliged.
Regards,
Masood
