    Default Transfer to someone out of state?

    From searching on this forum, I see that it's fine for a parent to transfer a gun to a child in PA. What if the parent, a PA resident, wanted to give the gun to a child who doesn't reside in PA? Can that be done?

    Only through death or an FFL. (ref 18 USC 922(a)(5))
