No Tactical Weapons Allowed At Harrisburg Sport Show
Reed Exhibitions, the group who holds the Harrisburg Show in February, will not allow any tactical weapons to be displayed or advertised.
This could also disallow the sale of raffle tickets, etc. if one of the prizes is such a weapon.
They are claiming it’s a “hunting show” and thus these types of firearms will not permitted.
Please spread the word and contact the shows promoters and let them know how you perceive this attack on our 2nd Amendment.
Emails, letters, or phone calls may be made to:

Re: No Tactical Weapons Allowed At Harrisburg Sport Show
Be sure to copy and send this to everyone on your email contact list that understands shooting is an outdoor sport.
The Harrisburg Show is titles as, "Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show"........ not the Eastern Hunting Show.
Last time I was there and cared to look - shooting was an outdoor sport.
Reed needs to stand with sportsmen.. hunters and shooters instead of bowing down to the political pressure of the anti gunners.
Let'em know they fouled up!Is your position a short term gain - or a long term loss?

Bluetick, how about a link? When I search for more information, all I find is other places you've posted this same thing. I'd like to confirm the policy before badgering them about it.
Also, what the fuck is a "tactical weapon"? Is that a firearm with a yield of 1 kiloton or less?

That's odd. This appears to be the same exhibitors that hold the Shot Show, which seems to have every type of gun.
You can never have enough horsepower or ammunition.

Re: No Tactical Weapons Allowed At Harrisburg Sport Show
Let us see what kind of response is given to the below email I just sent:
Ed,
I am writing to inform you that I was planning on attending your Harrisburg, PA show and have a few questions. I recently read that you have a policy regarding "tactical" weapons not being allowed. Please elaborate on this policy as it applies to the show.
If your policy is to disallow said "tactical" weapons, I shall not attend your show and I will discourage others from attending as well. There is very little functional difference between what may be called a "tactical" weapon and a semi-automatic hunting rifle or shotgun. Currently there is a proposed Governmental assault on the right of the American people to keep and bear arms. If you have a policy in place to not allow "tactical" weapons you stand against the cause to keep and bear arms, not with it.
Furthermore, if your organization is making policy decisions solely on emotional and political factors and not considering the data you are indeed doing it wrong. I look forward to hearing from you as a way to get the real facts regarding this issue.
Thanks,

Pretty disgusting. DEFINITELY going to contact them and urge others to do so. Fuddism/Zumboism has GOT to stop.
