Handgun box kits that come with 3 mags?
A friend has been desperately looking at getting a first handgun and I've been trying to help out while he still has time. He's been looking at a few but then tries to find mags for them and can't. Obviously it would be in his benefit at this point to just buy something that comes with 3 mags. I tried offering some options but was wondering if someone else can chime in with some suggestions. He's looking for something with 10+ otherwise he'd assume just wait. I suggested he get a higher capacity gun while he still can because we don't know what's going to happen with all this. Price range is up to around $1,000 and not picky about DA/SA or striker - seems to do pretty well with either of them having shot mine at the range. He likes the way my 9's shoot better than my .40s - he thinks the .40 is a little too much for him.
So far I've suggested these because I know they come with 3 mags in the box.

Although you already mentioned the FNS, I will say that the FNX also comes with 3.... and the 9mm's hold 17 per.

Most handguns already come with 2 magazines. So you are centering your decision on the addition of 1 magazine? The blue label Glocks come with 3 mags. Other than that.... I dont know...
I think the decision should be based on what handgun fits the hand best and feels comfortable.

FN USG 5.7x28 also comes with 3 20 round mags which can also be extended to 30 rounders.

Maybe number of mags would matter if it was the difference between two guns that he liked equally. But to base his first handgun decision on just that is not smart in my opinion.
His time would be better spent finding a gun that he shoots well and is in his price range.Fortune fingers the fearless

A little off topic, but as I perused the gun show yesterday I wondered how many rifles and handguns now "mysterily" come with only one mag.

Gen 4 Glocks. Get a 17 or 19 so you get the higher cap mags before they go bye bye
