CeaseFirePA is INFECTED with anti-gun Nutz! What on the surface sounds like a good premise- fighting against "gun crime" is cleverly co-opted into a malicious and treasonist attack on the United States and Pennsylvania Constitutions.

JANUARY 9, 2013- In light of the Sandy HookElementary School tragedy, the gun debate rages on... Right here in ErieCounty... Officials from CeaseFire PA, a group that takes a stand against gun violence spoke at the Jefferson Educational Society tonight...
It was standing room only as more than fifty members of the community came to the CeaseFire PA meeting...
What started out as an informational meeting for the group that works to unite communities and demands action for elected officials to crack down on criminals trafficking guns illegally...
Quickly turned into a gun debate...
Initially the group hit on key points including reporting lost or stolen hand gun... and encouraging those to call on legislators to fix what they say is the broken background check system, close the concealed carry loophole.
....And repealing the first shoot law that almost freed Trayvon Martin's alleged killer...
During the open forum people began arguing guns need to be banned altogether while others saying guns are needed but we need stricter regulations.
CeaseFire PA officials tell us it is normal for this to happen during these meetings...
They tell us this is the beginning of a much needed dialogue....

As you can see, even many of its own members have been hoodwinked into believing that fighting against "Gun Crime" and "Gun Violence" meant actually standing up against "Crime and Violence."


But instead, Shira Goodman's lackies have chosen to IGNORE CRIME and VIOLENCE and focus on GUNs.


Why? Well, SHE got herself a meeting with the VP recently. SHE gets notariety and fame. SHE gets attention. Who cares if the group actually does anything, as long as SHE gets the attention SHE desires.


Heck, every gun owner I know is against Gun Violence and Gun Crime! But we focus on the VIOLENCE and CRIME part.


I really feel sorry for the members who give their time to sit in court rooms to make sure criminals don't get laughable sentences. I feel sorry for the many hoodwinked people who donate TIME and MONEY, thinking they may actually be making a DIFFERENCE, while the organization itself is off tainting these good deeds through their deplorable anti-Constitutional activity.


Like so many other "good ideas," CeaseFirePA has been co-opted into an anti-American Constitution group, seeking to DESTROY our Government!

How?

Our Government is founded on the principles of Checks and Balances. Between the branches of our Government; and between our Citizens and our Government.


Our Bill of Rights were specifically enumerated as ABSOLUTES in our Constitution, being so fundamentally critical to our form of government, that it cannot exist without the Bill of Rights, INCLUDING the 2nd AMENDMENT!!!

Attempting to undermine and harm the 2nd Amendment undermines and threatens our Constitution itself!

IMHO, this is a fraudulent and unethical practice, to pretend to have one purpose, yet serve a completely different- and much more sinister- purpose instead.


I don't think anyone with the ability to actually READ the 2nd Amendment and the ability to do a google search to find how badly Shira Goodman wants to erode and eventually eliminate our 2A Right should EVER join CeaseFirePA.


IMHO, their website is deceptively lacking detail on these matters.



Bottom line? Don't be a dumba$$. READ for about 2 minutes and you'll RUN AWAY from CeaseFirePA.


Now...if CeaseFirePA can wrestle control away from the Nazi-style leadership that seeks to disarm the law abiding Citizens of the United States, in DIRECT VIOLATION of the Constitution, and if CeaseFirePA actually WANTS to REDUCE Gun Violence and Gun Crime, they would team up with the Responsible Citizens of Pennsylvania to HELP Responsible Citizens obtain LEGAL firearms and TRAINING and the LEGAL PROTECTION to carry them as necessary to PROTECT our lives and the lives of others from harm or death.


This is my opinion and I believe it is supported by the self-proclaimed and published actions and statements of CeaseFirePA and it's leadership.

Join and allow all of their meetings to continue to be disorganized and a turn off to new people. That bogs them down with internal strife and prevents them from using misinformed propaganda to recruit more who will regurgitate their claims and agenda. They know they can't come out and state they are in favor of banning guns because it will turn away too many Americans. Solution? Lead them into questions that get them to admit it at their meetings.

They're not "infected" with anything. The goals of organizations like MAIG, CF, Brady, etc. have NEVER been about reducing crime; that's just their sales pitch. Dont let them fool you; their goal has always been (and always will be) the complete disarmament of the law-abiding populace, rights be damned.

These aren't good organizations that have become "infected"; these are organizations that have been anti-gun, anti-rights, anti-freedom, and anti-American from the get go.

This isn't new or surprising, CeasefirePA has always been anti-gun, and I do mean to the extreme. They will flat out lie to promote their agenda, and I've even heard some rumors involving intimidation and threats. It has never been about the violence, it has always been about the banning. They align themselves, hand in hand, lockstep, with Sarah Brady and that abomination called Handgun Control Inc. CeasefirePA boss, Max Nacheman is a former Bloomberg employee, and continues to be one of his stooges. Surprise, old Bloomy even has his fingers in this pie, and help fund Ceasefire's ads and political donations to the " Kane initiative ".

They are so wrong about the "Florida loophole." First of all, one must take a firearms safety course taught by a qualified instructor to even apply. They require fingerprints and go through the FBI to qualify applicants. I doubt very many criminals would submit themselves to such scrutiny.

The organization is "Ceasefire" not "CeaseViolence". It's been a gun control organization from day one.

Do you also fall for the trick of referring to gun control as "gun safety laws"?

Although, I wonder if "infecting" them would be an effective tactic. I wish I had more free time, I would start attending meetings, and in a non-confrontational way, repeatedly ask innocent questions that would eventually force them to acknowledge their silliness. Kinda like how a shrink asks leading questions to a patient so they figure it out themselves.
