picked up a 1907 savage what do you guys think it's worth
I bought a 1907 savage made in 1909 with original box, owners manual, letter from savage on the gun and book on savage pistols. I have not seen one in this condition what do you guys think the value is. I will not be selling this. I am just curious to see how my 488 dallor purchase was under or over by.

20 years ago those and the 1910's were going for $299-$350 in pawn shops in San Antonio. That's without the box, manual, etc. I had a 1907 and a 1910 at one time.
I have no idea what it is worth today with all of the bonus material. But I do not think you overpaid.
If you do ever decide to sell, please give me first crack at it. Congrats, it's a beauty. If you don't know who your state legislators are go here:

put your zip plus 4 in the box in the upper right hand corner.

Huge swing on price with those, I've seen them go from $200 to some asking $550+ ???? I have a 1917 model, nice little gun. You were able to get everything including letter which is nice. I'd say you did ok, most important is you being happy with it It will only keep appreciating in value. Enjoy and congrats.

I am thrilled with it and the extras allow me to look into the past a litlle more. When i get a little more money it will get a proper desplay case and it didn't cost me a arm and a leg to own a piece of history. I shot one box of ammo no malfunctions. it will probably never be shot again. I plan to pass it on. This is one of three guns I will not let go. I own my first firearm which is a remington 870 and a ww2 colt 1911 now the savage.
