    Default Normal LTCF Aplication Process?

I have a question, I submit the application and wait 5 minutes and then take a picture. It is assumed, and I read that in Berks County, Pennsylvania LTCF to be delivered the same day, I pay $ 20.00 in cash, but did not give me any proof or evidence of payment. The officer told me to wait two weeks the answer because they had a lot of Applications. This was in the sheriff's office in the Reading Airport. This process is normal? Thanks for your help and im sorry for my English.

By law they are allowed to take up to 45 days to issue (or deny).

But it is normal to pay first, because I read that is paid when you pick up the LTCF. I ask because in the same week to 2 friends gave him LTCF in 30 minutes. just a question. Thanks

Did you ask for a receipt? You could have.

Yes, you are required to pay when applying.

    18 Pa.C.S. § 6109: Licenses
    ...
    (h) Fee.--
    ...
    (5) The fee is payable to the sheriff to whom the application is submitted and is payable at the time of application for the license.
    (6) Except for the administrative fee of $5 under section 14(2) of the Sheriff Fee Act, all other fees shall be refunded if the application is denied but shall not be refunded if a license is issued and subsequently revoked.

Honestly do not ask, I felt a little intimidated, because my English is not very fluid and I have fear of being discriminated against for being of Puerto Rico, but Puerto Ricans are American citizens, I feel a little intimidated, I love this country. Thanks for being nice to me. I can only hope and trust in God.

You're probably fine. I wouldn't worry about it.

    (Prayer never hurts though.)

Yeah you pay first or I did anyways. I waited 3 or so weeks before I got my issued too. I get a letter in the mail telling me my license was ready. When you get it depends on the county.

Thanks so much, I bought a gun a week ago for personal protection, as I am jeweler and are living in difficult times and to protect my family and in the future for sport. Thanks again for being good people and understand.
