Obama just signed a bill that would give himself and other living presidents lifetime secret service protection. Whats the bozo afraid of.

Supposedly the lifetime thing ended with Clinton as far as I know. Barry just signed it back into place. Hell if I was going to ban guns the first thing I would do is make sure I was surrounded by them for the rest of my life.

If I was O'Dumbo and had to worry about the time that our kids and G-kids find out just what he did to them I would want protection.

1965, Congress authorized lifetime security (Public Law 89-186)

1997, Congress limited that security to 10 years.

Now it's lifetime again. No big deal, and I doubt the gun control issue or politics had much to do with it as protecting past, current and future POTUS from being killed or kidnapped for what other countries call "War Crimes".
