    Default AR15 Brass vs Steel case Torture test

    Thought this was an interesting article. It is done with all ARs so I will post it here. A mod can move it if need be.

    Now THAT was thorough. Thanks for sharing!

    I especially like the inclusion of "mean rounds between stoppages" since that is what most closely applies to the average range shooter. Anything over 300-400 should be fine.

    Good article. Great results on ammo and also proves that those Bushy's aren't such bad rifles after all. Just another reason not to use the "chart" as a be all end all to buying an AR. It would also appear that your ammo choice is more a determining factor on life expectancy or experienced problems than manufacture.
