I also hear a lot of people say stupid things, sometimes they or 10's of thousands of people wind up dead because of it. Seems reasonable that we should have some sort of training when it comes to free speech, no?

Even if we had national carry States like NY and NJ would still jail us for carrying unregistered weapons in their eyes!

Actually they couldn't. I know this is something we all want as law abiding citizens but I want States to be able to make their own laws. Ideally, something like the DMV system would work. As a community, we would have to weigh out the benefit of carrying nationwide versus registering your weapon....its at that point that it would be a no-go for me.. I would be for a DMV type system which requires no training, cost caps of let's say $25 every 5 years, registration being unnecessary, there is a record of my ownership at the LGS.
