Last time it was no Sunday hunting, Farmers will post their land.
Once again Game Commissioner Bob Schlemmer has used the Farmer will post their land cry. This time the Commission wants to change the counties outside of Allegheny Co, in 2B to primitive weapons only, for the late Antler-less season. Allegheny Co, will remain Shotgun. Schlemmer claims Landowners in the fringe Counties are upset over the late season Hunting pressure. If the landowners in the fringe Counties are up-set over the late season, wouldn’t it be reasonable to believe landowners in Allegheny Co, also are un-happy with it as well. I don't see anyone proposing that farmers be REQUIRED to allow hunting on their land on Sundays. Funny thing is that they lobby the Capitol over crop damage caused by deer, but then won't let anyone hunt them.
