As far as i am aware wssa is only a one time visit for the dollar to see if you like the facilities. You may want to look into that further before you sign on the dotted line. There is a special lower cost membership if the person is more than a certain distance away. Otherwise it is a nice club and seldom packed because of the number of ranges available. Dave

Don't know if Carlisle is close enough to you or not. The Carlisle Gun Club is a nice place with an indoor range available to members 24-7. You're allowed to have 2 guests at a time with you. I'm not aware of any limits as to the number of times any guest may come. The membership is $60/year, and it's quickly getting up to their cap of 350. You are allowed to shoot 22 rimfire and any handgun caliber up to 45acp, but no magnum loads. If you're interested PM me for more information, or you can check out their website. Just do a search on "Carlisle Gun Club".

Yeah, I had looking into joining there, but I want a place that I can shoot my hunting rifle as well so they are out. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I belong to palmyra even with it being a 20-30 min ride, it's reasonable for the yearly fee and has an indoor 24hr range.

I know this post is kinda old but when I was in town last a friend took me to the Palmyra sportsmen's club and it was great, decent pistol ranges and a great rifle range. When I move back I will become a member there.

WSSA allows members to bring a guest twice before they need to apply for a membership. It is a dollar and you need to fill out guest form in the clubhouse.

Enola sportsman association has now limit or fee on guests for the ranges. But much more difficult to get into.

Carlisle Fish & Game Association does have rifle ranges, even one reaching out to 300 yards. They best known for their shotgun ranges and pond. Pretty easy to get into, just show up on a saturday during the trap shoot and fill out the form.

I personally like WSSA for pistol. ESA for trap and food. Both are good for rifle. It has been many years I have been a member at Carlisle.

Any places around that don't require a membership?

Shooters Range in Chambersburg doesn't require membership.

Pay by the hour indoor range.
