Public range in Suscon. You will need a hunting license or range permit.

Yes. I know of that one and the one in red rock and archbald. But looking for a place other than those. I was going to a place in Harding but land was sold and not able to go there. Thanks

Advanced Arms has been talking about opening an indoor range for years. Stop bay and ask him about it.

Re: where to target shoot near pittston?
I didn't realize there were this many people so close to each other in Luzerne County on here.
I had thought about arranging a group shoot at the Archibald range last year but didn't think it would get enough interest. Maybe we can get together some weekend at the Archibald range to do some shooting and discuss a group shoot where we could reserve the range for the day and bring our families.
I myself don't have many people who shoot in my family but I know some who do.
I don't know of any private ranges or clubs except for the Wilkes-Barre Rifle and Pistol Club http://www.wbrp.net/ and the Factoryville Sportsman Club.
Both of these require sponsorship and i don't know anyone in either club. I also heard about a range in Williamsport I want to try. They have a 100, 300, 600, and 1000 yard rifle range and it is open to the public to join for the year. It is $50 I think for the year.

Re: where to target shoot near pittston?
Yeah I have the same issue. I'm looking for a solid handgun range around wilkes barre we don't have anything public other than the state ranges.
I'm thinking IDPA may be fun to give a try but I need solid practice first.
Wilkes Barre Rifle/Pistol club looks interesting...
I would love an indoor range as well without driving to the Poconos.

Re: where to target shoot near pittston?
I would LOVE an indoor range. Im not aware of any in the area besides the ones mentioned above.
For now, I go to my friends camp up in forest city.
Will also spend some time at a friends property on west mountain this summer... Much closer to my house, but not as secluded.
