    Default Mossberg 930 tactical

I recently purchased a Mossberg 930 Tactical 12 Ga. auto shotgun and I kind of knew in advance but now realize even more that accessories for this gun are hard to find. Pistol grip stocks seem to be limited to Choate. Their okay but not what I was really looking for. Right now I'd be satisfied to find a PG stock more to my liking. Speedfeed or Mesa Tactical are more the style I'd like but they don't seem to offer anything for the 930. I'd also like to find a +2 mag extension for this 4+1 magazine. Does anyone know of any good sources for these parts or any other accessories for the 930? I've searched the web but just havn't had much luck.

Wow! I really appreciate all the good info and links provided by SNAFUG36. This information was just what I was looking for. As for the question from Brownman as to why I didn't just buy a 930SPX. Well this model was available to me at a really good price and I decided I would just add additional features as I went along with the option to pick and choose. I am excited about the information that RUDY850 provided about the Mesa tactical stock. I'll be patient and wait for that. Again this info is a great help.

The Mossberg tang safety (which I love) makes the use of a pistol grip stock less than ideal. I wouldn't put one on my 930 SPX.

Since a shotgun's greatest weakness is its limited ammo capacity, the first accessory I always buy and recommend for a tactical shotgun is a shell carrier. I prefer those from Mesa Tactical. They aren't cheap, but they're the best of the lot, imo.

I've heard this point about the top mounted safety being used with a pistol grip stock several times and it is a good point. Something I'm going to have to consider. Well I've got time to think about it since the PG stock I'm looking for isn't available yet. Maybe I'll opt for a conventional speedfeed stock that holds extra shells. Anyone ever use one of these?
