    Default Ouch, my shoulder hurts

Just went trap shooting for the first time in 25 yrs.

At the end of fifty 12 gauge shells my shoulder was getting sore.

    2nd set: 2

    At least I improved. LOL.

Ya sore shoulders suck. Here. I highly reccomend. Best 32 bucks you'll ever spend. I use mine to tame the recoil of my Beowulf and a few rounds of trap myself.

I used a run of the mill limbsaver sleeve on my .300wsm, calmed her right down.

How heavy of a load were you shooting? I shoot trap about 3x/week and during the ATA season 300 rds a day is doable

Just not used to it. Been a long time.

A good pad, as suggested above, would go along way. .

Try an M-14 on full automatic. That was some 44 years ago, and my shoulder's still sore.

Yep, but you were young and strong at the time.

    I'm old and fragile.

Me, too. Well, older (not "old" yet), but I'm not too sure about fragiler.
