New offering from Ruger- the SR45
http://www.ruger.com/products/sr45/index.html
Looks like a very nice gun. The SR9 is a wonderful design and this looks like a carbon copy.
Other guns were also released including a Commander length 1911.

Also released the LC380:

The USA is now a banana republic. Only without the bananas....or the Republic.

I don't really see the need for the LC380.

SR1911 looks enticing, except it probably has Ruger's typical HORRENDOUS trigger pull all in the name of safety

Re: New offering from Ruger- the SR45
Will be easier to control compared to the 9mm version. Some people may have .380 on hand but not 9mm and don't want to add another caliber. Other than that I can't see of any advantage to the .380 version.
I would have rather see them just take the LCI, mag safety and manual safety off the LC9 and offer it to people not living in commie states. In other words make it a slightly larger LCP in 9mm. Then I would buy one to keep my LCP company.
Is Ruger caught up on production with the other guns they make? Or are they doing what they usually do and bringing more new guns to market when they can't keep up with demand for what they currently make?

The Guide Gun in .338 Win. Mag may be my next bear rifle. Throw some glass on it and it becomes an instant Elk rifle.
