I see we finally got a Dauphin county forum. Who else is from around Dauphin county and where do you shoot?

I'm just outside of Harrisburg near Linglestown and shoot at Harrisburg Hunters and Anglers Assn.

I live in Susquehanna Township and I shoot at Hummelstown Field & Stream and on a buddies island in the Susquehanna. I also shoot back home in Blair County.

Blue ridge is like 5 minutes from my house. I'm considering joining there whenever the TMI people have all the ranges occupied at HH&A and I still wanna shoot. Have you ever shot at HH&A?

What do you shoot? I'm usually over there once or twice a week as well.

Hello Jason B.,

Thank you for your post. I usually shoot early afternoon and mostly
now on days off from work,during the week. I plan on aquiring a S&W
500 revolver in the near future. If you would like to shoot it you are
welcome to. I will have EMS stand-by to treat injuries. I usually shoot
on the indoor range at defensive distances,.40 S&W. Indoor there we
are using B-8 targets cut down to include the 8,9,10 rings only. I use
a .40 S&W pistol for CCW but switch to small .357 J frame in the sum-
mer(scandium/titanium) for CCW. Remmington Golden Sabre 125 grain.
I am well practiced with .357 J frame,no recoil problems. I am a great
lover/admirer of S&W small frame and large frame revolvers. The S&W
500 will truly be just a fun firearm for me shoot and I may do some big
game hunting with it on a guided trip. I'm serious,if you want to shoot
it you may. We may be the only two guys in Dauphin county not afraid
to shoot it. Thank you for your post.
