Rick, your gun is probably broken. I'll give you $50 for it.

Re: Ridge & Valley Rod and Gun Club members-2013
For 2pm on a Monday, it was pretty busy there today. Many cars in the upper parking lot for trap, I assume. Rifle ranges were occupied and I wasn't alone down at the pistol range with two other ppl and another car driving down as I was leaving. I did notice one of the steel knockdowns was missing again. It seems there is a problem with them every cpl weeks for some reason.

I need to get back out, been too busy with family to live fire on a regular basis. I need a day off of work with no kid to just blast the shit out of some paper.

Re: Ridge & Valley Rod and Gun Club members-2013
Thing is ive been hearing for over a year now that new membership policy was being reworked and changed...
Thats all i ever really get out of the important items stated is that things are being "worked on"
Just crazy in the few years ive belonged to this club the influx of people that have joined...not saying that is a bad thing but just letting anyone into a club is not the best practice IMO and have seen some things that make me go damn, maybe from a revenue stand point, however, its a cheap club in terms of dues (not in terms of quality) so i dont see that being the reasoning behind it?
Emphasis on adding addtional rifle ranges, which are def needed (years of battling with PPL i understand), but it seems i can never get an opening at the pistol range these days and i try to go at all different times during the week/ hours of the day
to my bad i have not attended many meetings lately for the above reasoning of hearing the same stuff over againLast edited by Svickstc; August 21st, 2013 at 04:42 PM.

Re: Ridge & Valley Rod and Gun Club members-2013
Just a heads up to members....a new rule they are cracking down hard on (even though the email states that it wont be in full effect to Jan). Is displaying the ID at all times now...
Look for some AR500 Torso Targets at 100 yards in the coming weeks, ive been working with a buddy and we just tested AR300 at 100 yards and we toasted the target so AR500 is a must to hold up...
Also cutting new steel targets for the pistol range as well for the knock downs in AR500...
Please dont steal the torso targets when they are hung, we are going to secure them as best as we can but we are offering up expensive expensive AR500 torso targets for members to enjoy, please be respectful
