Anyone from pittsburgh to kennywood carpooling? Besides possibly cranberry/evans city or the group out at new stanton.

I would definitely join a carpool but I don't really trust my car to make the trip at this point. Would contribute gas/toll money if someone has a bigger car. Otherwise it's Dingy Dog buses for me ($38 and hanging out in the Strip at 2AM). A vehicle trip would cost about $70 including gas/tolls from my calculations.

Carpool in Monroe? I can take 3 passengers (used to be able to take 4, but now there is a car seat taking up the center seat in the back.

My Jetta is a little beat-up, but she's a good girl that's been nothing but reliable for countless trips between PA and VT with no hiccups.

I'm happy to offer a ride if people are willing to split the gas.

While I am not a smoker, smoking IS allowed in my vehicle. I only ask that you crack the window. Music choices will mostly be classic rock, with a little Johnny Cash thrown in.

I'll offer a ride to anyone needing one. 3 seats open in back and one in front as long as you can handle to ride in a work truck. Its clean runs and will carry 6 men packed full. There is also a covered 6' bed for storage of coolers or extra supplies nothing of much value as it doesn't lock. I also have a post in Allegheny national forest section.

This is my area also. Perhaps we could even do a park n ride type situation. Meet and park in Monroeville somewhere then jump on the turnpike.

Greene/Washington Counties:

I will be renting a car for the drive to Harrisburg and will have 3 empty seats if anyone wants to chip in on gas. I'll be traveling 79N past Waynesburg and Washington and out 70E to the turnpike. PM me if interested by Friday afternoon. If there is enough support, I can rent a minivan for a few dollars more which can seat up to seven.

Someone mentioned the City Island Parking Lot which is on the river in Hbg.

I've never been there so I have no idea how crowded it gets, but the website for Hbg Parking says it's $5 to park there.

Monroeville is also close and a better option for me. I have a jeep (two seat) that may not pass inspection this month. If I could hitch a ride and share expenses with a group of yinz, PM me. Lowe's or Miracle Mile lot is near the turnpike.
