Berks County Sheriff will NOT release LTCF information to media
"In wake of Sandy Hook Elementary tragedy, Berks County Sheriff’s office will not release firearm license IDs"
Sending Sheriff Weaknecht a grateful e-mail on this. Thought everyone in the state would want to know about this in case their Sheriffs might be a little more forthcoming with information they have no business releasing.

I think I'll email him to thank him for escorting prisoners in and out of the courtroom. I'm emailing my butcher also to thank him for cutting meat.

I went to their website, got his e-mail and thanked him. I think it's important to let the good guys know we are in this together.

Correct! From the linked article:
"Sheriff Eric Weaknecht states that he will not release any information contained on an application for license to carry firearms and that all information an applicant provides is confidential and not subject to public disclosure per Pennsylvania statute at 18 Pa. C.S. §6111(i)."
I have to wonder if what Gannet is doing, is legal. I hope not."The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of 'liberalism,' they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."
