    Default Any Reloaders in Pittsburgh...

... and willing to show a newbie what's what? I've convinced myself I want to get into it and have started reading and looking at equipment. I'd love to hang with someone for a bit and watch the steps. I could bring some beer or something for your time.

    Thanks all.

Thumbs up Re: Any Reloaders in Pittsburgh...

I've bought pretty much everything I need to get started with reload aside from the press. I'm getting the Hornady Lock-N-Load Autoprogressive press. I've read a lot and watched tons videos as well as gotten lots of advice from several friends who reload. I feel that I should be up and running in then next 2-3 weeks. If you're interested around that time and still haven't found someone else, you could join me and check out my operation.

ETA: One thing I can say is that it's expensive to start. I've got about $300 invested and still have about $500 to go (thus why the 2-3 week wait..).

I live in the Coraopolis Area of Pittsburgh and have re-loaded for many years. I am now casting my my own bullets for all of the guns I own. I do not shoot near enough, but it is stress relief whether it is re-loading or shooting.

McDonald Sportsmens Club advertises classes for many things, including I believe re-loading. You can also look into CCAC for possible classes.

    Salute!
