Wife's took right at 45 days. She had her 'yellow card' for 3 weeks before going down to the courthouse to pick up her LTCF, which she did yesterday. She asked the clerk if they've been busy, and the guy just rolled his eyes at her with "you have NO idea..."

Just picked mine up Monday.. Took 42 days to get my yellow card. I arrived arrived Monday at 11:05 am was third person in line.. There were a few waiting to get their pics taken. I walked out 40mins later and the line was 15 deep at that point. I have to say that I am amazed at how many people show up just to do the application when it can easily be done online. The other problem I saw was that some people just show up unprepared, no id etc... All in all a positive experience. The staff although rushed and at times short, were helpful and courteous.

I made the same exact comment last week when I took my fiance down to get her license and my renewal . There must have been half a dozen people get turned away because of improper documents while we waited for our pictures.

My wife called yesterday and was told "its in the mail".

So hers is going to take just short of 9 weeks total and we emailed the forms and ID copies in to them.

The woman on the phone was short with her, but helpful.

Thumbs up Re: Picking up your LTCF for the first time?

I appreciate the pictures, they were very helpful!

Here's my (new) application timeline, if anyone is interested. My license from Beaver county expired 5/20. I e-mailed my Allegheny county application in 4/8 hoping to not have a gap in licenses. I received my yellow card in the mail 6/4 (60 calender days and 43 business days).

I arrived at the sheriffs office today at 10:20, there were 2 people in front of me. I had my license by 10:35 and there were about 8 or 10 people in line when I left.

Just want to reiterate to KC THANK YOU for doing that. It's not super easy if you haven't been there before.

    Fixed it for you.

    Your
is a second person possessive adjective, used to describe something as belonging to you. Examples of its use include, "
Your book is on the table," and "This is your chair and this is mine."

    You’re
is the contraction of "you are." Examples of its use include, "When you're my age, you'll understand," and "You're welcome."

Thus this week's English grammar lesson is concluded.
