problem was this little shit stain split and dumped straight from the mains into the basement.
I think I'm done with carpeting down there. this is the 3rd time something has happened and fucked it all up.

i'm sorry but carpeting in a basement is always a bad idea. area rugs however...
i've got a similar dupont filter on my main. with a 100micron spindown before it.
    did it freeze?

probably not visible in that picture, but the entire threaded portion of the bottom is still attached. it split just below that, all the way around. It shouldn't be frozen as my basement is consistently in the 60s.

as for carpet... yea, I think we're done with that now.

you can tell something is attached to threads, i was just curious if it split due to cold. mine is all that blue fiber plastic stuff. guess the clear? splits more easily.
but yeah we have both one of the big cartridge filters as well as one of the spin-down type. minerals kept locking up toilet valves and faucet strainers.

GREAT DEALS ON CCI 22LR AT SHYDA''S

Had to make a run down to Lebanon this AM and dropped by Shyda's just to see what was happening. Picked up a couple of bricks of CCI 22LR SV for $29.99 each and a brick of CCI 22LR Tactical for $20.99. That's the best prices I've seen on this stuff for quite a while. Don't know how long the sale lasts or how much they have but just thought I'd let you guys know.

I don't care for this setup because it limits you to only using an optic, but if you plan to swap out the fore end you would have a place to mount a front sight.

can probably throw a flip-up front sight on the gas block.
    nvm, saw a different angle.
