For those with 7.62x39 AR15s who may be interested in the 28 rd C Products Defense mags, here's a tip!

the-armory.com has 13 left at only $15.49 ea!
To the uninformed, that is a DEAL and these 28 rounders have been unobtanium for nearly a year unless you wanted to pay $30 ea from some obscure hunting website.
I can not locate these online (in stock) for a lower price.

I got a "back in stock" email a week ago and sat on my hands, not sure what to do.
I kept refreshing the page and yesterday it showed "18 left".

Also note that C Products Defense is now marketing mags under the name DuraMag - perhaps to get away from the stigma associated with CPD mags in the past?

I'm in. Want the 20rders most of all but I'll take some. They giving me the big bone on shipping though.

Ok , I got 2. I still want 20rders. I like those.
I am about 2 hours to your East and sometimes I get your way.
I am going to file one of these 28rders away and if you ever decide you need one , I'd split with you.
Call it $21.00.
Not a great offer I know but you'll have one safely filed away should you not jump on these yourself or if the balloon should go up..
I still plan on getting some 20's

I bought 5 of the 28 rounders this am.
shipping sucked at $11.50, but shipping is not cheap these days.
Rounded off to a hair over $17 each and if I saw them for $17 w free shipping, I'd jump, so...

I bought ONE 20 rd CPD mag over the winter.
Those are even more scarce. Ended up paying like $25 for it after shipping, but I wanted one for my stock mounted mag pouch.

The thing is - CPD mags are proven winners and ASC is a gamble.
I've seen plenty of posts noting the need to modify ASC, but never once the same thing for CPD mags.
Just sucked it up and got them while I could.

Watch, in a few weeks everyone will have them restocked and I'll find them for less. Still, $15.50 is about as good as I've ever seen them, so I'm not upset about the price.

I've seen shipping at half their cost. Using USPS of course.
Which the Armory is not doing.
Still it's a fair price for sure esp if you grabbed 5.
I have also been watching 20rders for some time.
I just have not been in a hurry to grab any and was going to this past weekend until I realized they may be on sale next weekend..... so I am on hold for those.
Some places have sold out in the meantime.

I placed my order with The-Armory early this morning and by 2 pm I had a FedEx shipping notice stating out for delivery 5/21 and expected delivery 5/23 by end of day.
I would have preferred less expensive shipping that took a week or two to get here, but at least I'm getting extremely fast processing and 2-day shipping for my money.
