I posted this in the "AR Pictures" thread, but figured I'd mention it here too...

Another very affordable mag coupler option is the Safariland unit that CDNN Sports still has in stock.
You can't find it if you click thru all their products and it doesn't come up if you type "coupler" in the search.
If you start typing "Safari", it pops up! (probably why they still have them a year later at that price - nobody knows they have them)

It's also an offset design with "flat" bottom so that when you switch "sides", the mag on the ejection port side is low enough to clear.
I haven't cut the rubber banded top covers off yet, but probably will.

XProducts makes a can cannon in 308 for the ar10, or you can get a ball launcher from bloom automatic

Vince (Bloom Automatic) doesn't seem to be in business these days.

I think his was probably the best launcher design. No unthreading muzzle devices like some cheapie ones I've seen.
Still have mine.

I wonder if those blanks would launch a golf ball? I know not all blanks have the "oomph" suitable for such things.
I could use it on my Spanish FR 8!

I've used those blanks in my 8" ptr to launch golf balls but havent tried them with a full length barrel

Wasn't sure if I should post this, but as I'm deleting emails, I saw it again, and figured WTF...

2nd email says "16 left in stock".

Looks like it's assembled by them using Aero Precision upper/lower and their own parts.
Can't really comment on the vendor/quality. I think I ordered a part from them at one point.

no deal but damn.. I bought something from Joe Bob Outfitters and they had it updated to shipped about 15 minutes later .. checked the Status the next day and it was at the post office.. I don't think I've ever had any place get something on its way that fast!!
