Mine arrived today, 500 rounds short. They are going to ship out the remainder.
This is the second screw-up in two orders. The first order got shipped to NC and returned two boxes short.

I ordered as well. Same exact thing happened to me. 500 rounds short. I called Combat Arms customer service, and they apologized. When I got the box, it seemed a little small for 1000 rds. Hearing your experience was the exact same as mine, I wonder if it is a case of their thinking buyers will just stockpile the box and not realize the shortage until much later...too late to make an issue of it. I also noted the shipping label had a "1 of 1" on it as my first thought was to wonder if the UPS driver unintentionally (or intentionally) left the other half on his truck.

i am willing to bet they are a small company that didn't comprehend the amount of traffic they'd receive and have made some mistakes.
any sensible gun owner will count every round before stockpiling...

At the TSC today and saw stack-on 14 gun cabinets on sale for $95, which is about half of what everyone else local wants. Price is good at least through January.

Note that it's got the plastic stand offs for scoped rifles.
a lot of their cabinets now come with open cell FOAM stand offs that tape on. (garbage - foam is bad for your rifle)

Didn't know that about the foam standoffs on newer safes and cabinets, thanks for the input.

This one definitely has all plastic internal parts.

My 25 year old ones had the shitty foam. One 2 years has the plastic standoffs. Might have to pick one up for ammo storage.
