I am really surprised that it took them this long to catch up with the free-shipping trend. But now the Sportsman's Guide (when was the last time someone posted a "deal" from them on this thread? Last Christmas?) has built-in free shipping for its Buyer's Club members, no coupon code needed:

I think it is time to reactivate my club membership with them (let it lapsed, twice, due to the fact that their prices have not been competitive very much in recent years), especially in light of this Walmart situation.

I might start reconsidering them. I let my membership drop once they added a $10 processing fee for firearms. For some reason it just rubbed me the wrong way. I did like their 4 pay plan though. But at the same time it was hard finding a competitive deal on most firearms.

I used to get 7.62x54 two cans in a crate for like $160 shipped. Holidays the bargains will come back and then is when I will strike again. I know we wont see the 762x54 like that but the x39 as well as clothing and other items will be cheap as always. I spend maybe close to $2000/year with them based on my needs.
