tell ya what I'll be watching for...
7.5" or 10.5" pistol upper, to keep in freedomland.

I'm getting the purple ALG V0 (shown) for my wife's build. I was almost going to wait because ALG usually has a really good sale during teh summer, but holy shit - 40% off is nothing to sneeze at. Primary Arms usually has the ALG rails discounted pretty good a few times a year, but they seem to no longer stock the V0 model.
The regular price from ALG is $155 (which is still a damned good price considering the quality and the "custom" color) but with 40% off it will be $93 shipped for a 12" quality handguard.

Anyone building on a budget should look hard at what they have. Good stuff.

I'm not much of a handgun guy but I keep thinking one of those would make for a good truck gun.

Just don't have the extra money for things I don't technically need. Otherwise, the price is crazy good and it sucks to not take advantage of it.

Bought my shield there, no problems. It helps to call them the next day to confirm your order though. Otherwise they get so many orders that yours may be on a back burner. Mine was kind of on a back burner as they thought they were waiting for my FFL address, but I had already emailed them that, so the phone call helped. Also helps to put your FFL in the comments section of your online order if they don't already have it on file, which I didn't think of doing at the time. As I recall, the gun may be sourced from somewhere else and channeled through "gunbuyer", which may be more of an online middleman than someplace with physical inventory, but I may have that wrong.
