At their price point I would expect some of the problems you have had. But that does not worry me much. If it is a major failure it goes back. If its small just fix it and move on. I dont sweat the small petty shit on cheap shit.

I won't buy anything if there is a better than good chance the low price will cause some agravation. Personally, I just don't see the benefit. I say that because I consider that stuff junk plinker shit to me. Cheap is cheap. I expect it to function. I have more than enough skill, equipment, and tools in my shop to fix small shit.

Its like the BCA barrels I bought. For under $100 each I didn't expect sub-moa quality. But minute of barn door for killin cans at 50 yards is just fine.

I understand and agree.
But when it’s turning into a problem everytime I order from them it’s time to question what sort of quality is the stuff really and if the minimal savings are worth it.
I literally just got done putting a Palmetto lower together for that upper to use instead.
Not a single hitch using those parts.
I understand they cost more but I didn’t have to do anything but put them together.
The upper to lower fit is sloppy, yeah I know it won’t affect much but it’s a noticeable amount of slop.
It’s not there when I put another upper on.

At this point it’s my opinion that CA is selling blems from other companies.
Just too many problems for me.

I won’t bugger up the thread any further, I wish you guys continued good luck with their stuff.

My concern with budget stuff is what can't I see to justify the price. Is it properly made or is it a kabloom waiting to happen. A gun blowing up in my face is an unpleasant thought.

I looked on Youtube and there are about 5 vids mentioning Combat Armory uppers.
I still liked the look of this upper after seeing it on video, so I placed the order for this upper.
I decided against the full kit because even though it's a great deal, I'd prefer to use a KAK buffer tube/brace and probably get a LPK minus trigger group so I can add a drop in upgraded trigger when I catch a good sale. After I thought about it, it made more sense to just get the upper, save myself some money, and not get parts I may not use.
