Found one at walmart. Think its a plano or gator something or other. $40 for double scoped 52” case. Supposedly tsa compliant with double lock holes, but any monkey with a pocket knife/box cutter could crack this thing in 2 seconds

Im in hog hunting country, so its in stock. If i needed a second one i’d grab it in a heartbeat for the price. Was actually surprised to see them on the shelf, found them at the end of february and not a single one sold. Much better option than the soft cases. Only gripe i have is it uses eggshell foam, but i can get closed cell foam padding later and cut to shape/pattern of the rifles.

It should be large enough to fit the ar10, 5.56, and have room for the 450bm upper and one pistol inside it. With any luck, said pistol will be the ar9.

Now if i could only find the large Plano sportsmans trunks for $20 ea again…those things are wicked awesome. Cheapest ive found them is on planos website for just under $40 ea
