    Outstanding, thinking outside the BATFE.

I think it would take quite a bit of tuning though to get it to run right and the gun would beat itself to death very quickly to get it done. Talking oversized gas port, heavy buffer spring, lightweight BCG and buffer. You'd have to speed that action up way too fast to make it work I'd guess, but it would be fun as hell before it exploded!!!

Sounds like an extra credit project. Turn your AR into an MG 42.

Last time those cranks were announced by email, they sold out within an hour or so.
Given the low end nature of that place, I wouldn't expect too much, but it's not like you'd be out $200.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

You will over run the sear and the hammer falls too soon which will cause a malfunction , common for binary triggers.

I wonder how it will run on the FAL? Or, the Garand?

Assuming the Garand's op-rod will hold up to the rate of fire. I am trying to get a mental image of using this on a Garand: One hand on the hand guard, stock on the shoulder (probably don't want to try firing from the hip), the other hand cranking and letting your shoulder absorb the full glory of rapid-fire recoil of .30-06 rounds... Then, the kill-joy, after only 2 2/3 revolutions, say about 2 seconds in actual time ... PING... forced cease-fire. Darn those 8-round clips...
