If you take a little time and are careful, follow the directions there's generally no issues . The only one time I have had any issues was due to an out of spec a/m slide. That was warrantied and handled properly (even got a second free slide for the trouble and they are actually US made in VA) other than that I've had no issues with any of the builds so far.

Okay last question I promise.

The frames are all made by polymer 80 so they are all the same quality regardless of vendor. Regarding the slides and parts kits is one vendor better then any other or should I just go with the best deal?

A place called Big Belly Toys has smokin deals on assembled blem pistol and rifle kits, but they're almost TOO good, their website sucks and I've never heard of them before. Think $250 complete side charger pistol kits, $200 complete pistol uppers, $260 complete carbine kit, etc. Anyone have any experience?
