Whooo boy.......Finally got this out to the range today. It’s only one trip but this may become a favorite rifle. Tons of fun.

I guess it was a better deal when it came with the Mlok rail. Still a good price though.

I love my 7.62x39 build and after I get enough rounds through to feel comfortable, it will probably be my first choice of rifles to grab if needed.

I know I've mentioned it multiple times, but I like the 28 rd mags because they aren't as long/curved/dorky looking.
Most places only carry 20 or 30 rounders though and the 30s can be found on sale occasionally at various vendors.

northriverllc.com had the 28 rd mags on sale before, but not currently, but since they are a distributor, most always have them in stock.

I only have 4 mags for mine. I've been spoiled by dirt cheap 5.56 mags and it's a hard pill to swallow to pay $18 for a mag.

I will never have the boxes full of unused mags the way I do .556, but will be happy with 5-10. I will be looking for 20 or 28 round mags. Thanks for the tip.

These seem to go on/off sale randomly. Currently all on sale for OK prices, but most notably the Multicam pattern is on clearance and priced slightly less than the other colors. (Multicam "anything" is typically priced much higher than other colors/patterns)

    MidwayUSA

Choose different lengths/colors to see prices for each.

Note that camo patterns are made with 600D nylon vs 400D used on solid colors. (the 600D is a little better)

    36" case is $20.81
    42" case is $23.84

I've had a black one of these for probably three years now. They're well made for the money and has held up well. Worth the money if you need a bag.

Thanks. I needed something to fit my new 20" barreled AR Grendel. It's 40" overall with a big scope on it so that case is perfect. And also since its a new caliber for me, I realized I needed some bore brushes, jags, etc. so I threw them in too.
