I've never been to Gander Mountain. Given the changes there, I might never make it. gghbi, I never, ever even THINK about buying ammo at Walmart. Stupid me. I have a friend who sends me listings for Dick's whenever they have 9mm (we shoot a lot) on sale.

dicks not only screwed gun owners with a big anti maneuver. supposedly they screwed them again when all those ar's jumped up in price and they started selling them again. check the forum

one or two of those websites i mentioned will show the deal but not factor in shipping.
gun-deals does shipping as well so it's pretty representative of what you'll pay or the going rate for shopping around.
the sites are sadly not all inclusive, but it'd probably be hard to find a better deal.

walmart is hit or miss, depends on your local walmart. our local isn't worth the gamble getting shot. also a topic on pafoa.
and to finalize, i've got a block 500rnd? of aguila. people say good, i've not shot it yet. im sure it bangs but not sure how it'll cycle my semi's. it's mexican. iirc.

The CMP carries Aguila so it's probably good to go.

Aguila is the ONLY ammo that will run in my "special" rifle unsurpressed. It has a lot of energy, is very consistent (required for these purposes due to tuning), and has great nose profile for feeding.

It also smells like shit (acrylates, actually) and will piss people off if fired indoors in large quantities. Never really tested it for accuracy. But I was able to turn every 1-1/2" wheel on a sort of target tree at 50 yards with a single string of continuous fire. Repeatedly. On more than one occasion. Until somebody blasted it with a rifle round.
