Trying to match an ANODIZED color is nearly impossible. I contacted ALG to ask if the purple had a name/code/etc and they said it does not, and that even different batches of the "same" color can vary with the anodizing process. Plus it looks different depending on how the light hits it.

you can try one of the rattle can anodized offerings from vct or rustoleum.
i think they start with a silver base coat then your desired "anodized" color top coat.
"candy" offerings might also work for you. semi translucent gel looking coatings.

Welp. There's a slim chance that they're holding out until closer to Christmas to offer them at a better price or withel free shipping, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Rumor is the Gander at Muncy mall is closing again, but details are beyond vague. Best source was a random Facebook memo that popped up. Store won't answer phone and corporate said "its likely". So all that said, the thing I saw said 50-60% off most of the store except guns n ammo and expensive stuff (my words...generators and the like), which are 25-30% off. If anyone goes, 1) leave some for the rest of us! and 2) report back please.

Yes, the Gander at Lycoming Mall is closing... last I heard guns were 30% off and disappearing fast, as in if you see one you like, get it now, as it won't be here later. I am broke, so it does not do me much good.

Thanks for confirming...just got more of an answer from you than from 5 phone calls to them, literally. Weird, I was just there a few weeks ago and saw no signs of it.

Stop in briefly today. Line to check out stretched from the registers back through the clothing section. Must have been 40-50 people waiting. I turned and walked straight back out. No deal is worth putting up with that many people for an hour plus in line.
