Already own a 7.5" and don't really NEED a 10.5" upper, but I think it's the American thing to do to own as many short uppers as possible.

Gotta do some reading before I go that route - not sure if there's a good/bad barrel length for 7.72x39.

barrel wise is where i'd spend the coin (I love ballistic advantage and they aren't going to break the bank)

also check out this video on helping steady your barrel in your upper.

7.62x39 really doesn't lose much velocity in a shorter barrel. I'd get one if I knew for sure it would cycle my sub-sonic loads.

These guys finally got me ... mainly due to service been looking for a glock 26 slide with forward serrations and no cut through. I literally e-mailed them to ask if they were planning on making ones without the all the way through cut today. The guy actually changed the website to accommodate within like half an hour. Damn him I had to order one.

Good to know. All I ever hear is crap about my 7" 5.56 being "useless" but nobody has ever volunteered to take a few rounds to the torso within 20 feet, so...

You need one with a 4" barrel
