This place sells mostly no-name/budget/China stuff, but they do carry some known brands as well, and sometimes have great deals.

Apparently they revamped their site and there's a discount code.

+1 on EMs comments, for the same reasons. I SWORE I didn't want a railed upper, that I had no use for it, that a front sight post was good enough for me...until I had one of each. On the right deal, there's marginal difference in cost.

Midlengths tend to run much smoother and with less parts wear than carbine lengths in a 16" barrel size. The carbine length is really meant for a 14.5" barrel, so a 16" is typically overgassed (especially in a budget build that they tend to overdrill gas ports so it runs cheaper underpowered ammo).

If you have a furniture set with the carbine length handguard, then no biggie. But if you haven't bought anything yet and you have the option - midlength is probably better. Google the term 'dwell time'.

I prefer the A2 front sight especially when using a red dot. If you like the look or functionality of the A2 but have to have a free float hand-guard there are plenty of options out there.

The MOE is meh in my opinion to fat and feels cheap, so I switched my non free floated rifles to the BCM PKMR much thinner and has better mounting angles for lights and other crap but again that’s subjective to the user.

As far as carbine vs midlegnth I agree with the above post especially if it’s going to be your only rifle with a high round count. It will run smoother and longer then it’s carbine length counterpart. Unless you want an exact M4 Clone with the M4 barrel profile.

They were slightly less money (for TWO) from MagShack.
Other quantities may change the overall deal when factoring shipping.

They should arrive by tomorrow. Hope they match the purple rail.

ETS has similar mags too for those who are into them...not sure if they have purple though.
